randomness
July 29, 2007I'm using my other blog's layout. Will just edit it tomorrow since my artistic juices are on hiatus as of the moment. Booness.
Since my head's all mixed-up right now, here's a random and super cluttered post. Teeh.
Gym girl…
A while ago, I tried on some of my old clothes that almost didn't fit me anymore the last time I tried them on. Awooow! Most of them fit me nooow! Didn't even notice that I'm losing some of 'em inches. Quite a wonder really, that I'm not losing weight, but I am getting thinner. Oh gym, how I love thee! Hahaha!
About gym crush, let's call him Olops. We're not really getting closer. Maybe we're not meant. Hahaha drama queen. Oh well, papel.
Fantastic Four
I never got to see F4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. My friends bought tickets for a suuuuper duper late night show (read: last full show on a Friday night) and I had no means of transpo to go home. I think my parents had some business stuff to attend to that time which means they won't be able to pick me up. Most of my friends are from the South (me = north) so I never entertained the thought of hitching. Well anyway, I'm fine by it though - watching last full shows. I even think it's fun because a third of the Pinoy population's already sleeping and you're still there eating popcorn, drinking soda, watching an uber cool movie. But it was such a sudden change of plans that I never got to "re-plan" my night. I'm spontaneous, yes, but not too much.
Harry Potter
Speaking of movies, we've already reserved tickets for HP: OotP (hahaha, too much of a shortcut). Order of the Phoenix is one of my favoritest Harry Potter books (I still believe Prisoner of Azkaban kicks ass and is the best book in the series by far — let's wait for Deathly Hallows hihi), and I can't wait to watch the movie. I was disappointed with Goblet of Fire last year since they omitted quite a number of significant things written in the book, I hope I don't get bummed out with this one.
Oh, the tickets we reserved are just Saturday afternoon slots at GreenBelt3 since most of my friends are already working and can't watch on a weekday. Initial plan was to reserve tickets for the July 11 (first day) screening at MOA (wuhooo IMAX!) but it costs P400 each and most screen times are already sold out. I don't think I'm the type of person to pay that much for an HP movie (in my honest opinion, the books are way better). And no, we're not money-machines… P400 bucks compared to P170? 2D's all fine with us, thankyouverymuch.
Pinoy Big Brother's Wendybug
I firmly believe that Wendy deserves that slot in the Big 4. She is, in fact, what ABS-CBN's been looking for eversince the show began. Wendy Valdez, despite and because of the recent events that found the whole viewing community raging in anger, made the ratings of the so-called reality show soar high. So congratulations, ABS-CBN, for your achievement. Her life is as ruined as it possibly could because of a mistake she's done, and the stigma of it all will haunt her forever. Then again, money talks… money counts. Who cares about her, right? People are being entertained and advertisers are everywhere.
C'mon. People make mistakes… some worse than Wendy's (in fact, a million times more). For those who judge and criticize her, don't. You may not realize it, but condemning Wendy makes you smell fouler than her. I am not, in any way, associated with Wendy. But I think she's realized already that the whole country hates her, so give her a freakin' break. Will your hatred put food on the table? Will your anger towards her give you clothes and shelter? Will it get you anywhere.
Greetings:
Oh crap, I didn't notice that it's past 12 already.
Belated Happy Birthday, Lee Ian Magpantay and John Michael Dy!
i. cant. wait!
July 6, 2007After re-reading OotP (except the part where Sirius died, I skipped that one) and watching tons of trailers and first-looks, I am now as impatient and as excited as I can be with the upcoming HP movie. Wahaha shucks. Feel like I've been waiting for it forever.
As I've mentioned in some entry I've posted earlier, I'm now re-reading HBP (since I've finished OotP already). Upon opening the book, I suddenly felt eager to reach the part where Harry develops feelings for Ginny and they end up together (only to break up again because of unavoidable circumstances, to my dismay). I am proud to say that I am a Harry-Ginny shipper. It's the only pair that I loved reading about and made me all mushy inside hahaha! I do hope Rowling reunites them in Deathly Hallows. She's caused me a lot of disappointments already — the death of my most favorite character Sirius, the loss of Dumbledore, and the break-up of Harry and Ginny in the end of HBP. One of the best things she could do in the last book is to bring my loveteam back together (or probably revive Dumbledore and/or Sirius), hahaha!

Anyway, moving on…
It's my dad's birthday this Sunday. Since we don't have helpers every Sunday, we're gonna go out tomorrow. Together with some of our relatives, we're gonna go to Tagaytay to hear mass, eat out and breathe some cold and fresh air. I should be sleeping right now since we'll be leaving early, oh well. I'm gonna take a shower first before I sleep.
Harry and Ginny forever! ^_^
of neopets and harry potter
July 2, 2007Neopets is driving me mad.
The Neopian Pound (where neopets are put up for adoption) is still down for maintenance. It's already been down for months! Not that I frequently go there or anything, it's just that I wanna transfer my two pets into my other account. It's getting quite tiring to be handling multiple accounts. But hey, I'm not using those accounts for anything illegal (like getting double the free stuff that are supposed to be available on a one account - one free item manner). I, well, am guilty of making new accounts whenever I'm bored. Like in blogs. Hehehe. So yeah, when I feel like I want a neopet, I just drop the old one and then create a new account. Tsktsk, not a healthy habit, I must say.
I hope neopet fixes the Neopian Pound soon. I'm getting quite impatient already.

I'm already in chapter 23 of Order of the Phoenix. It feels funny reading it all over again and getting excited while doing so, ALL OVER AGAIN. Maybe after this, and after I've watched the movie the coming week, I'll re-read Half Blood Prince next. This time, it'll be in preparation for Deathly Hallows. Hahaha. What a fanatic.
Sirius Black (+), Remus Lupin, Ginny Weasley, Fred and George Weasley are still my favoritest characters! WOOO!
Mischief managed!
grocery shopping is love!
June 30, 2007We went grocery shopping early today. I LOVE doing the grocery. I LOVE SHOPWISE.
I don't know why, but just by the mere thought of going to the grocery makes me all giddy and excited even if I don't really need anything from there. It actually relieves me from whatever stress or gloominess I feel. There are times though, that I get a bit irritated with some people doing their own groceries — those are the people who block the lanes, leave their cart anywhere and everywhere, people who squeeze through crowded spots even though the lane's all huge and spacey, or simply put, people who feel like they own the freakin' place! Booness to them. They should learn grocery-shopping ethics.
Anyway, I find it funny how people get all ecstatic at the slightest sight of free-taste trays and counters. Since it's the weekend, there are tons of those at Shopwise. I was able to taste Mekeni Tocino and Mekeni Picnic Hotdog earlier. There's also this australian milk that comes in three flavors - strawberry, chocolate and coffee. Even yoghurt drinks were available. Of course, I tried 'em all. My parents did, too. As result, we actually bought a pack of Mekeni Picnic Hotdog and three bottles of the milk (a bottle each flavor). IMHO, yoghurt drinks suck. I prefer just yoghurts, whoever thought of making it a drink sucks with it. HAHAHA

The radio's currently on and Love's now playing Siakol's Inihaw. Gaaawd, I'm getting sick of that song already! Never a day passes that I don't get to hear that song. Blech. Nakatikim ka na ba ng lupit na humahagupit?
untitled… haha.
June 29, 2007Can't think of a title for this post since it's totally random. And I've overused the word random already… so sue me.
Now on with the entry.
Suddenly felt nostalgic. Currently chatting with Sept and she said Ivan's planning to set some sort of block reunion. Awow! I hope it pushes through. Really miss my frosh-year college friends.
Also downloading full albums right now. I so love Fall Out Boy's Infinity On High! And Avril's Best Damn Thing! Woooo! Still about 15 more albums to download, hihi. Torrents, the best!
Anyway, in preparation for the latest Harry Potter movie, I started re-reading Order of the Phoenix. You know, just to refresh. Hahaha. I think this is my third time to read the book. Not too fond of it because Sirius died there (he's one of my favorite characters, huhu). Sans that part though, it's definitely an excellent read.
Oh yeah, didn't go to the gym today. I wasn't really up for it and Maky, my uber hansome cousin slash gym buddy, didn't feel like going, too. So yeah, he's taking his afternoon nap as I speak.
Until next post…

Pinoy Big Brother's Wendybug
I firmly believe that Wendy deserves that slot in the Big 4. She is, in fact, what ABS-CBN's been looking for eversince the show began… a rate-puller. Wendy Valdez, despite and because of the recent events that found the whole viewing community raging in anger, made the ratings of the so-called reality show soar high. So congratulations, ABS-CBN, for your achievement. Not like I'm blaming them or anything. I'm not, really. I'm just saying that Wendy's a victim of circumstances. Her being poor and brought up in an unfriendly environment. Being locked up inside the PBB house for four months with pent up emotions. Her being a public figure or being part of a so-called reality show. Everything.
As of the moment, I deem that her life is as ruined as it possibly could because of a mistake she's done, and the stigma of it all will haunt her forever. I hope Filipinos find it in their hearts to forgive her… she's just human, after all. I mean, c'mon. People make mistakes… some worse than Wendy's (in fact, a million times more). For those who judge and criticize her, don't. You may not realize it, but condemning Wendy makes you smell fouler than her. I am not, in any way, associated with Wendy… but I think she's realized already that the whole country hates her, so give her a freakin' break. Your anger and hatred won't get you anywhere. It won't put food on the table. It won't make you popular. It won't lessen the traffic in EDSA. It won't make things better. Give it up, move on.

no place like home
June 8, 2007I've been going to the gym for about three weeks now (sans Sundays and a few absents hahaha) and yeah, I can feel the change. *wink* It's true, what they say, that going to gym is kinda addictive at a certain point. What makes me go there three hours everyday is the fantabulous feeling I get after sweating it all out… and, my gym crushie. Hahaha. Yep, it's a must to have an inspiration in going to the gym. That's just my humble and honest opinion.
Anyway, we've moved back to our still unfinished (but already pretty) house. Feels good to be home again! My room's all pink and green, but it still lacks blinds for the windows, a new mattress (because the old one's all dirty and smells of dog pee), and my special request, a book shelf. Since my room's still not "sleepable", I'm currently squatting in my parents' room. All good though, I can manage.
So there…
PS
I'm so excited to see Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Some of my friends have already planned for us to watch on the 16th, and I can't wait!
back on track
May 31, 2007Who'd have thought I'd be making yet another blog. Haha, I never stop, do I? I won't make any promises anymore, I might just break 'em again. I'll just "try" not to make another blog again after this one. TRY. *evilgrin*
So much has happened the last two months that now I dunno where to begin. Definitely the biggest and most unforgettable thing that happened would be the fire that ate more than half of our house last April 15. I don't want to relive it anymore though. For a month and a half, we've been living here in my tito's house only up until the renovation of our house is finished. It's true, what they say, that family will always be there no matter what. Despite our constant feeling of being such a big burden for them, they never made us feel unwanted. I don't know how to repay them, but rest assured that they can definitely stay at our house when the time comes that they'll be needing our help. Even my room is open for them.
Anyway, my tito and family are currently in Hong Kong for a short vacation. We're the only ones left here in their house with my grandparents. My cousins entrusted their fish with me, and I'm actually enjoying taking care of them and feeding them every night. Makes me feel like I'm back home taking care of our dogs. Speaking of home, we'll be moving back in this coming Saturday, same day that my relatives arrive from their trip.
So there. Will post again some other time.
Welcome back, me!
